There are basically three methods by which we can take a screenshot on a laptop

• Command Method 
• Software Method
• Third Party Software Method

If you are using Windows OS you would have two inbuilt methods to take a screenshot and that is pretty enough for taking a good and quality screenshot but to edit the image you would have to depend upon third-party software.

Command Method

Note: Should have PrtScr button in your keyboard (Usually every keyboard would have this key and make sure it is working or not).

1. Take the window/tab or session which you want to take a screenshot 
2. Press the PrtScr button once 
3. After that Open Paint and click paste 
4. Done!

Software Method

In almost all the Windows Version Snip tool Software would be preinstalled with the OS. Which can be accessed through the Accessories in Start Menu or You can simply search Snip tool in Start Menu search section. How to Take a Screenshot on a Laptop

1. Open The Snip tool and select your are of Screenshot by selecting the left Section of  New Snip bar here You would have three option namely Freeform, Window, Rectangular Selection and Full Screen.
   
2. If you have selected Freeform or Rectangular selection to choose your area of choice by dragging the mouse while pressing the left button in the mouse.
3. You can edit Image with the Inbuilt editor 
4. After that a Click the save button and Choose your destination folder and click save 
5. That's all Done

Simply Open Snip tool and Press Ctrl and it would take a screenshot with Default settings after that Save the file.

Third Party Software Method
